Below are the scores and more from the two Saturday games involving northern California JC teams:

Ian Ross game reports. The Mariners had chances at the end after coming back from 17 down.

For CC: Rohndell (West High) Goodwin led the Colts with 22 points, including 8-9 from the foul line, Crisshawn Clark provided 15 points and a team best eight boards, Manny Martin supplied 15 and five with Kenny (St. Ignatius High) Hatch contributing 14 points. That's three sophomores and a freshman (Clark). Cañada won despite owning 25 turnovers (to 15 for COM).

For COM: Luke (Drake High) Chavez was in the lead with 12 points, Pierre (Heritage High) Carter tallied 11 plus nine caroms and Stan Kaya 10 for the Mariners.
