In Evanston, Northwestern turned back Michigan 82-78 in double overtime on Thursday. Former Concord High and Lakeshow player Dell Demps went for 20 points and five assists, shooting 4-5 from beyond the arc.
For the Ann Arbor-ites, freshman Aubrey Dawkins tallied 21 points on 7-11 overall shooting, 4-7 from long distance.
