Semple, Duncan & Bryan honored

California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Year, Terrance Drisdom and Chico State's Jordan Semple highlighted the group of four individuals that were named to this year's Daktronics/Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) All-West Region Team.

Last week, Corona native, Drisdom received CCAA All-League First Team, All-Tournament First Team and Conference Player of the Year and now has added First Team All-Region to his season's list of accolades.

The senior entered the Broncos' third-straight NCAA West Region Tournament with an average of 16 points per game, which was second in the CCAA for the category. He led the Conference in numberous categories. He sank the most shots from the field (160), had the most points throughout the season (464), and had a Conference-best 69 steals.

Semple, a senior from Arcata, wrapped up the regular-season with a conference-best 8.9 rebounds per game and 43 blocks.

Earning Second Team honors were Chico State sophomore Robert Duncan and Humboldt State Austin Bryan.

Chico State was the lone team to place two players on the all-region first or second team.
