Lepovic to Idaho

John Bynum/Signal The Light Hoops: "Marko Lepovic (Modesto JC) has committed to Northwest Nazarene University. Lepovic averaged 8.3 points and 6.9 rebounds last season."

From Lepovic's new school:

MARKO LEPOVIC (MODESTO JC & IMG ACADEMY IN BRADENTON, FLA.)

A 6-foot-5 guard, the native of Kragujevac, Serbia, played one season for the Pirates where he averaged 8.3 points and 6.9 rebounds playing in 26 games and starting 23 for Modesto Junior College.

Lepovic made his transition to America by attending the prestigious IMG Academy in Florida for his senior year of high school.

"Marko is a good all-around player who will primarily play at the small-forward position for us," Flemming said. "He played on the Norway U20 national team with (Crusader junior) Bouna N'Diaye.

"Marko is a good perimeter shooter and really rebounds the ball well at his position," NNU's coach added. "His former coaches couldn't say enough about his work ethic and leadership ability. He also brings a 4.0 GPA with him."
