When will...

Yes, there are a number of very promising underclassmen guards in the Bay Area and further north and a certain degree of patience is always required when talking about sophomores and freshman (but soon to be juniors and sophomores). So when will consistently being a factor in positively controlling a game be making an appearance on the court with these youngsters?

No names are going to be listed here because such too often produces kneejerk hater label responses and any validity of points made in the initial post gets lost amid recriminations.

Now some of these kids are already fairly consistent at producing points but need to demonstrate the next steps of doing so with greater efficiency, less volume shooting plus with the right timing within the offensive framework. Too often, announcers could go hoarse in having to repeatedly note "that's the kind of shot that could be obtained anytime within a possession."

Valid questions are Is anyone in this grouping a plus defender at the moment? Is that being worked towards?

The art of making teammates more effective also remains a still-to-achieve element for so many as does producing positive stat lines with a minimal amount of turnovers -- losses of scoring opportunities as well providing the greater chance of achieving foul trouble on the defensive end.

Additionally, here's wanting to see all these upgrades actually showing up in high school playoff and state tournament games where losing brings elimination and the end of the season rather than simply getting ready for another matchup later that day.

The kids in mind have excellent potential. Their time now needs to be seized where all the effort in the honing of basketball skills pays consistent and well-rounded dividends.
