Merritt wins

The Merritt College Thunderbirds hit the Southland for a two-day JUCO event and opened with a 42-32 victory over Antelope Valley College on Friday.

Don't have a score as yet for the subsequent Merritt - The Revolution matchup. Unfortunately, it wasn't televised.
