On Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, WeR1 Basketball topped Splash City 75-63 to win the 2016 Under Armour Association 17U championship. The score was 37-25 at halftime.
Neither team shot well -- Splash City went 25-65 -- but WeR1 was 26-35 at the foul line versus 6-9 for the Bay Area squad. Jadé Smith finished the most efficient overall numerically via nine points (4-8 shooting), five rebounds, a trio of assists plus a pair of steals.
