Bay Area versus Sacramento

My memory has some recollection of someone (Gerry Freitas?) holding a single game matchup featuring Bay Area versus Sacramento all-star squads -- how about re-instituting that event in some form?

The idea would be inviting a number of 2018 and beyond talents and a two-game series, one down here and the other in the state capital. Why not just one game, but if not, three to break a possible tie? Well, one works but to 'insure' any victory wasn't a 'fluke' in the eyes (and mouths) of the defeated, let's make it a pair because two straight victories indicates a clear cut victor. If the series finishes 1-1 then nobody/each side has bragging rights until next year's event takes place. Three contests is just too difficult to manage logistically plus player availability becomes more haphazard as the games increase.

Below are some of the so-called selections to this at-present mythical matchup:

SACRAMENTO

Jordan Brown
Chris Wriedt
Nate Karren
Chris Cagle
Cade Hoppe
Elias King
Mason Forbes
Kendall Munson
Chris Simpson
Zach Chappell
Jayce McCain
Treshon Smoots
Earvin Knox

BAY AREA

Jack Wilson
Nathan Mensah
Brown Eyisi
Amadu Sow
Dylan Belquist
Kyree Walker
Jamario Bibb
Derrick Langford
Naseem Gaskin
Elijah Hardy
Logan Johnson
Jake Wojcik
James Akinjo
