A UC Santa Cruz hoops update

On Saturday, UC Santa Cruz faced off with host Caltech and notched an 83-59 victory as Will (Casa Grande High) Crain and Corey (Half Moon Bay High) Celia both scored 13 points. The Slugs shot 59% overall, 10-18 from three-point range plus 19-27 at the foul line.

On Sunday, it was a matchup with host Cal Lutheran and UC Santa Cruz fell 74-61. A trio of Slugs scored 13 points apiece (there's been a pattern this weekend) -- Kyle  (Whitney High) Creighton who also grabbed nine boards, Corey (Half Moon Bay High) Celia and Adam Marlow.
