On Friday, guest Monterey Peninsula College upended host West Valley College 68-61. In the defeat, Mohammed (Fremont High) Abdulrasul led the Vikings with 23 points and added six rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals while teammate Armando (Andrew Hill High) Huerta tallied 13 points plus six boards.
