On Saturday in Vallejo, Cal Maritime edged UC Merced 86-83 as a last second Bobcat three-point attempt missed. Phil (Edison High/Fresno Pacific/Cosumnes River College) Randles paced the Keelhaulers with 25 points plus he added four assists.
For Merced, freshman guard Andrew (Sacramento High) Williams tied for the team lead with 18 points. Teammate Sean (Piedmont High) Rodriguez tallied 16.
