On Sunday at the Foothill College-hosted tournament, Feather River College bested Contra Costa College 87-79.
Conta Costa College Men's Basketball: "The Comets fell to Feather River College in the consolation final of the Foothill College Tournament, finishing the preseason with a 2-9 record. Leading 4 Comets in double figures was F Marquis Jones with 13 points and 3 rebounds and G Jalen Walton with 13 points 2 rebounds. F Kolman Kelly added 10 points and 8 rebounds and F Demond Washington added 10 points and 6 rebounds. The Comets open up Conference play on December 21st"
