In Phoenix on Wednesday, Grand Canyon turned away San Diego State 76-72 as freshman Oscar (Moreau Catholic High) Frayer scored 19 points, grabbed six boards and snagged a trio of steals. He shot 7-13, 5-8 and 0-1 respectively.
Dakarai (Sheldon High) Allen was solid with nine points, four boards, two assists and two steals for the Aztecs.
