On Friday, DeAnza College edged host West Valley College 70-67.
For the Vikings, sophomore guard Mohammed (Fremont High) Abdulrasul led in three categories: 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Teammate Rey (Piedmont Hills) Lowe tallied 14 points.
