Over in Hayward on Saturday, Cal State East Bay handled Cal State Monterey Bay 75-66. For the Pioneers, Jalen (Santa Clara) Richard was out in front with 22 points and teammate Micah (Notre Dame de Namur) Dunhour scored 16 points alongside 11 rebounds.
Freshman guard Kevin (St. Mary's High) Warren's 18 points aided the Sea Otter cause.
