Fresno State led 37-29 after 20 minutes over San Jose State University but the Bulldogs, particularly Coach Rodney Terry who was T-ed up twice, lost it at the end and it was the host Spartans winning 69-62 on Saturday. Gary (Castlemont High) Williams II was particularly adept at heading to the hoop and made 11-12 free throws on his way to a team-leading 18 points for San Jose State University.
