It was a close one down in the Southland on Thursday as Cal Baptist emerged with an 80-77 victory over host Azuza Pacific. Michael (El Camino High) Smith led CB in three categories on the night with 23 points, nine boards and four assists.
Connor (Archbishop Mitty) Peterson played very well for AP and finished with 16 points plus nine assists.
