It was a close one as well as high-scoring as Cal State East Bay fell by one, 109-108, in two overtimes to Cal State San Marcos in Hayward on Thursday.
For the Pioneers, Micah (Notre Dame de Namur) Dunhour led with both 31 points and 13 rebounds and Jalen (Santa Clara) Richard tallied 26 points. Druce (Tracy High) Asah concluded the evening with 16 points plus eight boards while Juwan (Bishop O'Dowd/Nevada) Anderson totaled 13 points as well as eight assists.
