On the coast Wednesday, Cal State Northridge continued its impressive play of late by bopping host Long Beach State 89-82. For the victors, Kendall (Deer Valley High/UNLV) Smith scored 26 points while dishing out five assists and teammate Darrin (Sheldon High/Washington) Johnson tallied 20.
Noah (Woodcreek High) Blackwell posted a 17 point, five assist line alongside 10 points plus eight boards from Temidayo (St. Joseph Notre Dame) Yussef for the 49ers.
