Host Montana State received 21 points plus seven rebounds in 19 minutes from Benson (Franklin High/Casper College) Osayande but still fell 106-103 on Wednesday. He shot 8-9 overall plus 5-5 from the foul line.

Sophomore guard Paris (Bishop O'Dowd) Austin tied for the team lead with 20 points as Boise State bested visiting Cal State Northridge 79-62 on Wednesday. He shot 6-12, 0-1 and 8-8 respectively. For the Matadors, Kendall (Deer Valley High/UNLV) Smith scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Firepower was once again a problem as UC Santa Barbara fell 73-57 to Iona on Wednesday in Las Vegas. Gabe (St. Mary's-Stockton) Vincent led the Gauchos with 13 points and Jalen (St. Patrick-St. Vincent/City College of San Francisco) Canty went for 10 points plus six boards.

In a game played at the pace preferred by the Cavaliers, Virginia downed host California 56-52 on Monday. For the Bears, Jabari (Salesian High) Bird led with 15 points (5-15 shooting overall, 4-12 from long distance). Teammate Ivan (Bishop O'Dowd) Rabb produced 12 boards plus nine points, taking just four shots.

After two overtime periods on Tuesday, Orlando prevailed over Miami 136-130. For the victors, Aaron Gordon scored 12 points on 4-8, 1-3 and 3-4 shooting in 28 minutes alongside five rebounds. In the losing cause, Tyler Johnson totaled 32 points on 13-20, 3-5 and 3-5 accuracy overall as well as five rebounds, three assists and three steals in 37 minutes.
