In Hayward last night, Chico State bested Cal State East Bay 56-44. For the victors, redshirt freshman Isaiah (Antelope High) Ellis scored 14 points in 18 minutes to continue his hot streak. Teammate Jordan (Bishop O'Dowd High) Barton tallied 12 points plus seven boards, also in 18 minutes.
Freshman Patrick (De La Salle High) Marr just missed a double-double for the Pioneers with 19 points and nine rebounds.
