* Cosumnes River College 46 - Modesto Junior College 44 box

For CRC, Burbank Night was celebrated as guard Mitchell (Burbank High) Love led with 13 points while David (Burbank High) Straughter was tops at 10 boards plus nine points.

* Cañada College 104 - City College of San Francisco 98 box

For the Colts, Manny Martin posted a 22 point, 10 rebound double-double, Rohndell (West High) Goodwin also tallied 22 points, Israel (Palo Alto High) Hakim 20 and eight plus Crisshawn Clark added 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

* Ohlone College 85 - Las Positas College 78

From LPC Men's Basketball:

"Outsized and undermanned inside, LPC gave Ohlone all it could handle Friday night before losing 85-78 in a Coast Conference North Division game in Fremont.

McKayle Harnell led the Hawks (12-9, 1-4) with 27 points, while Cameron Moses added 17, and Marti Fonolla had 10.

Ohlone (16-6, 3-2), ranked #10 in the state and #5 in Northern California, used its size advantage inside to subdue LPC. But it wasn't easy.

The Hawks led 45-44 at halftime and built their advantage to 55-48 early in the second half after a 3-pointer by Moses. However, the Renegades scored 8 consecutive points to go ahead 56-55 with 13:22 remaining.

Although Ohlone never relinquished the lead after that, LPC stayed within striking distance behind Harnell and Moses. In fact, after Harnell hit his fifth 3-pointer of the game, the Hawks trailed only 73-71 with 4 minutes remaining. Unfortunately for LPC, it went scoreless over the next 2-and-a-half minutes while Ohlone scored 10 points in a row, building its biggest lead of the game at 83-71 with 1:33 left.

Tyler Hall hit a 3, and Moses and Fonolla made 2 free throws each to cut the Hawks' deficit to 83-78 at 0:20, but an ensuing Ohlone basket put the game away.

"Zavon Jackson led with 20 points to lift Cabrillo past Gavilan in Coast Conference South Division play.

Latrell Wilson followed with 15 points, Allen Wilcher scored 14 points and Kean Flowers posted 11 points for the Seahawks..."

For SRJC, Davone (Castlemont High) Oliver led with 30 points, Corey (Cardinal Newman High) Hammell scored 17 and Parker (Humboldt State/McKinleyville High) Farris made it to double figures with 11.
