On Thursday in The City, USF was up by five at halftime but San Diego won the second 20 minutes by six points to nab a 57-56 victory in West Coast Conference action. Mark (San Ramon Valley High) Tollefsen ended with 14 points, six boards and three blocked shot for the Dons. Missed layups and free throws near the end did in USF.
