The CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week

Here are the northern California honorees included in the CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week:

Clayton Ladine (Burton, San Francisco)
While it isn’t against a school we had heard of before, it was reported by the San Francisco Chronicle as well as posted on MaxPreps that Clayton scored 63 points during a 98-64 win over June Jordan School of Equity, also of San Francisco. He finished 19 of 34 from the floor, including 7 of 14 from the three-point line. Averaging 36 points per game, he was also 18 of 20 from the free throw line. Ladine’s total is just two short of getting onto the all-time state list, which we wish was longer than the cutoff of 65 but that will take some extra research to do. And while it’s a very high total, 63 points is still quite way off from the San Francisco, Northern California and No. 3 all-time state total of 82 set in November of 1995 by the late Winters Patterson of S.F. Balboa.

* Corbin Koch (Sacred Heart Prep, Atherton)
During a 68-50 win for the Gators over Justin-Siena of Napa, he had four 3-pointers and finished with 34 points. Koch was the San Mateo County athlete of the week earlier this month due to scoring 54 points and grabbing 28 rebounds in three wins by the Gators at the San Diego Surf and Slam Classic.

* Jordan Roberson (Cordova, Rancho Cordova)
He scored 33 points during a 87-55 win over Union Mine of El Dorado. It was the 11th time this season that Roberson scored at least 30 points in a game.

* Eric Shaw (Amador, Sutter Creek)
It has been a tough season for the Buffaloes when it comes to picking up wins but one bright spot on a nightly basis has been the play of this junior. He scored 32 points during their 71-62 loss last week to Summerville of Tuolumne.
