From the Modesto Bee: "The Modesto Junior College men's basketball team won't get a chance to defend its Clark Classic title. Andrew Lotts, last year's state scoring champ, made sure of it.
Lotts scored 45 points to lift Feather River to a 92-76 victory over the Pirates in the second round of Cosumnes River's tournament. Tashawn Mabry had 19 points to pace MJC, while Mike Hill and Brenden Evans had 15 and 14, respectively. The Pirates will play Columbia in the third-place game today at 1 p.m."
