Available: 6-foot-6 wing with shooting range.

It surprised most everyone in July 2012 when Stephen Domingo elected to enroll at Georgetown rather than return for his senior year at St. Ignatius. Now two years later, he has two years of college credits from a top flight academic school to his name but very little actual college hoops playing experience -- 19 games, 4.5 minutes a contest this season, 20 and 5.6 as a freshman. But shooting 50% ain't bad.

Questions abound but the most basketball pertinent ones are:

* Minus two years of eligibility, how attractive is he now as a prospect?

Washington has been mentioned as a landing possibility but Coach Lorenzo Romar really needs help right away and cannot afford to bring in another recruit burdened with questions regarding how much he can contribute. FYI: Domingo's final choices two years ago came down to GT, Stanford, Washington and Harvard.

* Has his game expanded or his skills honed since his prep days?

It doesn't appear so. Even his shooting prowess seems in question as GT could have really used some solid perimeter shooting this season but Domingo wasn't seen as the answer to that deficiency. Is it a confidence thing at this point?

Why he wasn't redshirted as a freshman or sophomore is a valid one.

* A year off due to the transfer provides him a wonderful development opportunity. Will that be advantaged? How projectable is it that Domingo will he a solid contributor come November 2015?

But do remember that he is just 18.

Here's a solid look at all this.
