A trio of Humboldt State talents with Nor Cal connections

A trio of northern California talents, two of them freshman, played prominent roles on Coach Steve Kinder's Humboldt State basketball team this season:

* Parker (McKinleyville High) Farris - 9.4 points and 3.1 rebounds a game, shooting 37%, 33% and 81% respectively as a 6-foot-5 frosh guard.

* Will (Arcata High) Taylor - 5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds a game, shooting 50% and 60% respectively as a 6-foot-4 frosh forward.

* Brandon (Arcata High, College of the Sequoias) Pomrehn - 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds a game, shooting 50% and 66% respectively as a 6-foot-8 junior center.
