It's Gordon's, Thames' and Brown's night tonight

Obviously a big night tonight for Aaron Gordon but let's also not forget Xavier Thames and Jabari Brown.

Veering away from Nor Cal prospects, does Zach LaVine really go ahead of Kyle Anderson? It's a classic case of not knowing what you will get versus knowing exactly what you will get. LaVine has the higher ceiling and off-the-charts athleticism but will it come together for him is the unanswerable question.

  1. xavier thames is the best shooter in the NBA draft. He shot 75.5 % at the NBA combine and made 16-25 NBA 3's.

His turnover / steal ratio was top 5 in the nation at 1.20 . He had many double digit free throw games showing he was quick and got fouled and he hit his free throws at 83%. Without Thames San Diego State does not even get into the NIT.

They had NO OTHER SCORERS and no one else was good enough to play point. shepard the only other ball handler had 2.3 turnovers per game as the only player to give thames rest and shot a pathetic 17% from 3. thames is BY FAR the most underrated pick in the NBA draft.
