It took three overtimes Friday night before host Chico State emerged with a 61-59 victory over San Francisco State. CS led 22-12 after the first 20 minutes.
Robert (Granite Bay High) Duncan, who played all 48 minutes, led the Wildcats with 13 points. Jordan (Arcata High) Semple didn't shoot well but led with 13 boards.
Udun (Fresno City College) Osakue posted a double-double for the Gators with 23 points and 11 rebounds. He also was on the court throughout.
