* Yuba College 94 - Mendocino College 80 box

From Yuba College Men's Basketball: "Yuba Basketball gets to 3-0 in conference with a 94-80 win on the road at Mendocino College. Yuba was led by Jojo Zamora with 28. Manny Malou had 24 points and 5 blocks and Vasilje Saraba had 18 points and 9 rebounds. Next up is Los Medanos College, Tuesday at Yuba College."

"Jojo Zamora poured in a team-high 28 points and the Yuba College men's basketball team improved to a perfect 3-0 in Bay Valley Conference play with a 94-80 victory over Mendocino on Thursday night in Ukiah.
With the win, the 49ers evened their overall record at 6-6 on the year.

"They were pumped up to play us and shot 9 of 13 on 3-pointers in the first half, but we withstood their run," Yuba coach Doug Cornelius said. "We're getting there. We're starting to play pretty good basketball."

Manny Malou added 24 points and blocked five shots, and Vasilje Saraba dropped in 18 points while coming down with nine rebounds for the 49ers, who continue BVC action at home against Los Medanos on Tuesday...

* Contra Costa College 84 - Solano College 68

From CCC Men's Basketball: "The Comets pulled out a solid victory over Solano College tonight, winning 84-68. The Comets started off slowly, but came together and turned the game tempo up a notch and Solano couldn't match their speed. G Tajai Johnson led the Comets with 25 pts and 10 rebounds while G Jebraile Newkirk added 12 pts, 5 rebs, and 4 ast. G Pekelo McKenzie added 12 as well. The Comets record is now 5-8 (2-1 in Bay Valley Conference)."
