Washington State 69, California 66
Visiting Washington State held on to get past California yesterday 69-66 as freshman guard Ike Ireogbu connected on four free throws in the last 40 seconds. His calling of a timeout with 2.7 seconds remaining, when the Cougars had none, was problematic but Ernie Kent's guys still notched the victory.
