Westmont defeated host UC Santa cruz last night 66-50 with these highlights from the northern California talents on the court:
* Corey (Half Moon Bay High) Corey Cilia scored a team-leading 10 points for the Slugs.
* For the Southlanders, David (San Ramon Valley High) Gunn produced five rebounds in 15 minutes.
Also, James (Sacramento High) Townsend is moving up in the record book -- from UCSC athletics: "Congratulations James as he is the 3rd all time rebounder in UCSC history with 443 rebounds!"
