Not naming the university or player or sport (or source) but a recent commitment seemed especially ... fluid is the word. In an article, the prospect stated:
Xxxxxx Xxxxxx has given a commitment to XXXXXXXXXX
While Xxxxxx Xxxxxx said he had a couple reasons for choosing the Xxxxxx, he also said he’d de-commit if an offer that he likes comes in before signing day on Feb. 3, 2016.
“I’m going to keep my options open until I sign”
