At least Lorenzo Romar and Porter Sr. have a long time friendship, one not borne out of convenience. Coaches hire who they know and who they can trust -- two factors that dominate staffing additions, that is, unless someone can bring along a prospect, or two. So Romar gets a two-fer here. But it is too bad for so many out there who are qualified but lack this or that hiring connection.
