CCAA numbers

Below are a handful of numerical highlights from some northern California-connected players on teams in the California Collegiate Athletic Association:

* Call Warren (Cabrillo College) Jackson "Mr. Numbers" for his production this season. The San Francisco State sophomore is averaging a conference best 18.8 points plus 4.1 assists and 1.8 steals. Additionally, he's shooting 56% overall and 88% on 43 shots from the foul line.

* Redshirt freshman Druce (Tracy High) Asah is 'just' 16th in scoring at 13.3 points per game but who was was writing about that expectation in the pre-season? Sometimes, sitting out a season can have a really positive outcome and Asah has made that happen. He is shooting 53% on his three-point attempts (24-45).

* Meanwhile, fellow frosh Kevin (St. Mary's High) Warren is at 12.4 points per game, ranking him #22. He is shooting 40%, 39% and 74% respectively at Cal State Monterey Bay.

* Senior Nathan (Analy High) Molony-Benjamin is grabbing 5.8 rebounds an outing, #19 in that category while swatting away 2.3 shot attempts (17 in seven games), placing him at #5. All in 15.7 minutes a contest.

* Juwan (Bishop O'Dowd/Nevada) Anderson is dishing out 5.4 assists with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio in his eight games thus far for Cal State East Bay. Also looking good are the sophomore's shooting numbers: 49%, 43%, 1.000 (12-12) respectively.
