On its homecourt, Chico State torched Humboldt State 96-73 as a 55-31 initial 20 minutes did the trick on Friday. Wildcat Jalen (Castro Valley High) McFarren busted out for a 21 point, 13 rebound double-double. Teammate Justin (River City High) Briggs just missed that achievement with 12 points plus nine boards.
Calvin (Bullard High) Young II went for 13 points and 10 caroms for Humboldt and Colin Caslick also scored 13.
