Hansen honored as CCAA PoW

CCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week

"2015 CCAA Freshman of the Year Chris Hansen averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in UCSD's two narrow Conference victories against Cal Poly Pomona (64-62) and No. 17 ranked Chico State (60-56) last week.

Hansen led the week off with his sixth career double-double perfromance, scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. He shot 62 percent from the field on eight-for-13 shooting and was a perfect eight-for-eight from the free throw line. 

Friday against the nationally-ranked Wildcats, Hansen scored 21 points and snagged seven rebounds.

The Lafayette native's weekly totals included 45 points, 17 rebounds, three blocks, and one assist."

Hansen is out of Campolindo High.
