The Gators (8-0, 2-0 CCAA) are second in the nation allowing their opponents to just 35.2% shooting from the field. They are also third with 96 steals on the season. Their 12.0 steals per game average places them fourth while they are fifth with their 80.1% shooting from the charity stripe.

They are in the top 25 in following five categories:  scoring margin (13th, +17.7), three-point field goal percentage defense (14th, 28%), total blocks (17th, 37), turnovers forced (147-18.4/game) and blocked shots per game (24th, 4.6). The Gators are one of 19 teams in NCAA Division II that are still undefeated.
