From the Cabrillo College basketball site:
The Cabrillo College Seahawks took their show on the road tonight and came up with a 74-61 win at San Jose City College. The win broke SJCC (11-5, 0-1) eight game winning streak and got the Seahawks off to a positive start in the Coast Conference South race. Cabrillo (10-6, 1-0) came out slowly tonight and found themselves down 7-2 to start the game. However, the Seahawks seemed to settle down and manged to take control of the game as they went in at the half up 36-25.

In the second half, the Seahawks extended their lead to sixteen points but could not seem to put SJCC away. SJCC cut the lead to ten with 6:43 to go but could get no closer.

Dalton Noble lead the Seahawks in scoring with 22 points. Colin Gruber added 16 points and Phoenix Bills added 10. Jake Harrell chipped in with 9.

SEAHAWKS POUND SAN JOSE CITY 70-31

The Cabrillo College Seahawks won tonight over San Jose City College in San Jose. Cabrillo (19-3, 9-0) jumped on the Jaguars (9-16, 4-6) early and lead 26-9 midway through the first half. Cabrillo road that lead into the locker room and led 31-18 at the half.

The second half was all Seahawks as they went on a 30-3 run behind an oustanding defense effort. Cabrillo held SJCC to just 13 second half points and no SJCC player scored more than six points on the night. The win was the Seahawks 11th win in a row.

Thomas Pierce lead all scorers with 15 points. Aaron Short scored 14 and Frank Rogers had 13 points. Tyler Velasquez chipped in with 10 points on the night.
