Erik Rush news

A tweet from Montana State Coach Brad Huse: "Congrats to former Bobcat Erik Rush on making Swedish National Team and will be playing in European championships in September"

Rush is out of Milpitas High, having played for Coach Steve Cain.

Here's some background:
"Erik, born in the USA, has a Swedish mother and has had dual citizenship since birth. He made his debut for the Swedish national team during the Nordic Championships in 2011 and quickly showed that he is a player to be reckoned with. Erik is athletic, plays fundamentally very sound defence and is versatile in offence, being able to really get out on the break and finish around the rim. Leave him open and he can make three-pointers too. After a solid first year as a professional in Cyprus he played last season for Varese in Italy, a club that took champions Montepaschi to seven games in the Italian domestic semi-finals. In EuroBasket 2013 Erik will probably come off the bench to provide defence and energy."
