Lescault named PoW

Point Loma backcourter Hayden Lescault, out of Vista Del Lago High, was just honored as  the PacWest Conference Player of the Week:

Lescault led Point Loma to a pair of wins on the week, averaging 20.7 points, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game. He scored a season-high 31 points against Hawai'i-Hilo and contributed 23 points and eight assists against Hawai'i Pacific. In his last five games, Lescault is averaging 20.0 points per game to lead the Sea Lions to a 4-1 record. He has done some excellent work from the charity stripe during that span, making 12 free throws in two separate games.

On the season, Lescault is averaging 17.6 points per game, has 59 assists and 27 steals -- all tops on the team.
