The Aztecs take down UNLV
Xavier Thames 18 points (he actually didn't shoot well but finished 11-12 at the foul line) aided the Aztec cause as host San Diego State beat UNLV last night 63-52. Coach Steve Fishers guys won by double figures despite shooting 37% as the Running Rebels were held to 30% and shot just 2-18 from three-point range.
