Down in La La Land, Chico State won the first 20 minutes by a point as well as the second half in defeating Cal State Los Angeles 63-61. Four Wildcat starters scored in double figures with Rashad Parker's 14 points leading the way, followed by 13 from Amir Carraway plus Sean Park with 13 and Giordano Estrada contributing 12. The latter erupted near the end for most of his total.
James Tillman went for 21 points and seven rebounds for the Southlanders.
