From the Cabrillo College Men's Basketball site:
The Seahawks saw their 10 game winning streak and a perfect conference record go down tonight at the hands of San Jose City College in San Jose tonight. The first half was a defensive struggle where neither team was able to get much going offensively. At halftime, San Jose led 20-15.

The second half saw Cabrillo continue to struggle on the offensive end but San Jose got things going pushing the lead to 10 after two quick possessions. The lead would balloon to 19 points before Cabrillo would make a furious comeback led by Warren Jackson. The Seahawks cut the lead to six with two minutes to play but a costly turnover and some clutch shooting from the free throw line by San Jose would keep Cabrillo at bay. The final horn sounded and the Seahawks were handed their first loss since late December 64-56.

Jackson would lead all scorers tonight with 26 points including 19 in the second half, no other Seahawk would reach double figures. The loss puts Cabrillo in a tie for first place in the Coast Conference South with San Jose, each team with 1 conference loss, Cabrillo is now 17-7 on the season with a home contest vs. West Valley on Friday night, tip-off at 7pm
