In Doug Potter's article "Lessons Learned" thus far this basketball season, this appears:
"Stat of the Week: 42.8% – Scoring is somewhat down this season. Nationwide, men’s college basketball teams are shooting a collective 42.8% from the field. The lowest rate of any season in the last 20 years."
Let's not get all knee-jerk about this but some rules were recently changed favoring offensive players but what's up?
