Up in the Redwood Empire last night, Humboldt State edged Cal State Monterey Bay by one, 75-74 as guard Allan Guei released the game-winner at the very end.
The northern California talents of note: Rakim Brown led the Jacks with eight boards and scored 11 points with teammate Tom Witzel tallying 10 points.
