Utah State is now 2-0 in Mountain West Conference play after downing Boise State in Boise 62-61. The Aggies jumped out to a 41-31 halftime lead before grabbing the win on a last second three-pointer.
Chris (Yuba College) Smith paced the Aggies with 15 points (5-9 shooting overall, 3-4 from long distance) and his six rebounds and five assists also paced his squad.
The most remarkable statistics to emerge: Boise shot just 11 free throws and Utah State nine.
