CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week

The CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week (from northern California) are:

Clayton Ladine (Burton, San Francisco)
While it wasn’t the 63 points he scored against June Jordan School of Equity of San Francisco from earlier this season, Ladine score 42 points during a 99-70 win over that team last week. He followed that performance with 47 points during a 86-47 win over International Studies Academy of San Francisco earlier this week.

Kyle Roach (Marin Academy, San Rafael)
A weekly regular to this honor roll, Roach had two big performances last week but they both came in losses. First, his 38 points came during a 63-58 loss to Urban of San Francisco before he ended the week with 30 points during a 75-65 loss to University of San Francisco. In both games, Roach also grabbed 10 rebounds and he is another that has already cemented a spot here next week with a 53-point performance against Stuart Hall of San Francisco. Roach’s team lost that one, too.

Jordan Roberson (Cordova, Rancho Cordova)
Roberson’s big game last week was a 37-point performance when the Lancers defeated El Dorado of Placerville 66-55 to remain undefeated in Sierra Valley Conference play. He’s a legitimate candidate to be the Sacramento Bee’s Player of the Year, although Folsom’s Jordan Ford probably has the edge right now for that.

Anand Hundal (Manteca)
Our NorCal Boys Basketball Player of the Week scored a season-high 37 points and had 13 rebounds during a 77-62 win over Weston Ranch of Stockton. Hundal is a 6-foot-8 junior who seems to be getting better every week.
