Down south on Friday, Cal State Los Angeles won by 10, 63-53, over Cal State East Bay. In 17 minutes, Andre (Deer Valley High) McPhail provided seven rebounds and five points for the victors. For the Pioneers, Nick (San Jose State University/Aptos High) Grieves shot 6-12 from beyond the arc to lead with 18 points.
