(from Duncan's prep days)

From the California Collegiate Athletic Conference:

Chico State's Robert Duncan was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1.

A sophomore from Granite Bay, Duncan averaged 17.5 points and 4.5 rebounds as the Wildcats' pulled out two close victories against Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills this past weekend to hold onto a share of first place atop the Conference standings.

Duncan scored 10 of his 12 points in the final 12 minutes of regulation, including four-straight free throws in the final minute to secure a 64-59 win over the Golden Eagles on Friday night.

The following night, the guard exploded for a career-best 23 points. He connected for 72.7-percent (eight-for-11) of his shots from the floor and 92.3-percent (six-for-seven) from the foul line.  He added weekend-highs of six rebounds, two assists, and two steals in Chico State's 10-point victory over the Toros.

In 66 minutes of play Duncan totaled 35 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
